HEAVY RAIN AFFECTED TRAIN SERVICES IN NORTH FRONTIER

In view of heavy rain and water over flowing on Railway Track between Kishanganj & Panjipara (near Gaisal) Stations over NF Railway, the following trains towards and passing through East Coast Railway jurisdiction has been cancelled and rescheduled and controlled en-route.

 

#   Kishanganj Station yard and approaches flooded in Katihar Division of NF Railway.

 

#    Water levels at Saraighat bridge.  

 

#    DL not exceeded yet but rising trend.

                

#    Both up and down lines overtopped.

 

#    Water level showing increasing trend

                      

          Instructions have been given to all DRMs to control the trains at relatively bigger stations and monitor the availability of adequate food , catering arrangement and drinking water at those stations  for the convenience of the passengers. Instructions have also been given for cleaning & watering the compartments of the trains delaying, adequate security arrangement and attending the need of the passengers. 

 

CANCELLED:

 

01.15640Guwahati-Puri Express scheduled to leave Guwahati today i.e. on 13.08.2017 (Sunday) will remaincancelled.

 

02.15639Puri-Guwahati Express scheduled to leavePuri on 15.08.2017will remaincancelleddue to cancellation of connecting train from Guwahati.

 

03. 15930Dibrugarh-Chennai Egmore Express scheduled to leave Dibrugarh today will remain cancelled.

 

RESCHEDULING:

 

01.15906Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express left Dubrugarh on 12.08.2017 will leave Guwahati at 1800hrs instead of its scheduled time at 1145hrs on 13.08.2017.

 

CONTROLLED:

 

01.12510 Guwahati-Bangalore Cantt. Express left Guwahati today morning will be controlled at Barpeta Road.
