East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO), a voluntary organisation engaged for the development of the Society through it’s philanthropic, voluntary & charitable activities and also promoting various socio-cultural services organised its Annual Day “ARPAN”, this evening, at Rail Auditorium, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

Gracing the occasion, His Excellency the Governor of Odisha, Hon’ble Dr. S. C. Jamir praised the activities of ECoRWWO for the development of the society, particularly for the upliftment of downtrodden. Shri Jamir also encouraged the members of ECoRWWO to continue their efforts for betterment and development of the needy.

Shri Umesh Singh, General Manager of East Coast Railway appreciated the activities of ECoRWWO for their encouragement to the Railwaymen who are working tirelessly for the life line of the Nation.

Earlier, ECoRWWO President Smt. Madhulika Singh elaborated o­n the socio-cultural & philanthropic activities of the organization. Smt. Shephali Purohit read out the Secretary’s Report.

Shri Jamir also released the Souvenir of ECoRWWO “ARPAN” in presence of Smt. Alemla Jamir, First Lady of Odisha & Shri Umesh Singh, General Manager, East Coast Railway.

Later, Prince Dance Troupe/Brahmapur, Chhau Dance Group from Purulia, Odissi Dance, Renowned singers from Visakhapatnam and cultural activities by Railway Children were performed o­n the occasion.
